My copy of MakeMKV turned out to be a trial that I installed in 2018, and the trial period ended long ago, so the only thing that makes sense with what I know is if AnyDVD 8.6.0.0 was the first version of AnyDVD interacted with MakeMKV as you've described above, as it seems, based on what testiles said above, ("I find I run into a bus-encrypted Blu-Ray in maybe around 1 out of 25 discs.") highly unlikely that 'No Time To Die' is the first disc that I might have encountered that requested bus encryption (but maybe not impossible).Īnd to SamuriHL's point, "If the disc requests bus encryption, and MakeMKV is installed, AnyDVD will invoke LibreDrive. my workflow has evolved to using WinISO to make iso backups of discs and then mounting the isos with VirtualCloneDrive to rip in jRiver - a lot faster than using the disc in 2 separate operatons), this is the only disc that's ever error'd out like this. I'm still trying to figure out what triggered this failure.
